The Industrial Series of Aixia hot wire foam cutters are
the most advanced foamcutter in the world. The foam cutters are designed and built to meet the demands of production environments and customers requiring
large production capability. The Industrial Series includes the Aixia
4800,
4800T,
8800, 8800T (Cuts 8 x 8 x 8 feet), 81608
and 81608T, 81616
(Cuts 8 x 16 x 16 feet), 81616T
and 161616 (Cuts 16 x 16 x 16 feet) as
standard models, and also incorporates many of our custom designed machines.
The 81616 and 161616 are the worlds largest and most advanced foam
cutters you can buy. By building
to the specifications and requirements of the customer, we can provide additional
capability or features required by each individual customer.
The Industrial Series includes additional features over the Pro and Standard Series
machines. A few features include a double chassis of reinforced aluminum extruded frame, 4
heavy duty motors independently driving the X and Y axis',
providing the ability to
move the arms and wire trolleys independent of each other. Additionally, the Industrial
Series can be built with maximum dimensions of 24 ft/8 meters (see
our 81616 EPS hot wire foam cutter) in each of the X, Y and Z
axis', and can be fitted with multiple cutting wires or
multiple arms
for those high volume environments. The Industrial Series Aixia machines
all use a special custom formulated 0.007 inch (0.28 mm) Cobalt based alloy cutting wire to provide outstanding
mechanical resistance and durability. This wire will not have to be
replaced for 3 months! (Cutting 12 hours a day). Our software is
designed to notify you when the cutting wire needs to be replaced.
This prevents any "surprises" while cutting.
Custom design capabilities of the Industrial Series can include back-up Controllers,
multiple wires,
multiple arms, conveyor
systems (to feed and remove the foam), safety side enclosures
with instant on/off switches or light beams (Laser beams) for safety
with instant on/off switches for use in high production areas.
Our Design Engineers are always available to help with designing an Industrial Aixia to
fit your requirements.

AFC Windows Software
Create your design in most standard CAD type programs (such as CorelDraw,
AutoCAD etc).
You can use clipart, logos, scanned & traced images, customer provided artwork, and
any vector (line based) images. Import your design into our sophisticated
AFC
Windows software and you're
ready to cut.
Foam Art V1 Foam Cutting Software
Included with the
Industrial foam cutters is the Foam Art V.1
CD. The CD is a collection of artwork and images designed specifically
for foam cutting operations with the Aixia computerized foam cutting
system. Each file is designed with all required connector lines
already placed and ready to use.

Cutting Software
The Mad
Dog software is a collection of 750 hand drawn images suitable for
foam cutting with the Aixia computerized foam cutting system.
Every design can be scaled larger or smaller in your design software
that supports vector based images (Such as CorelDraw). This product is
included with all computerized systems!
Unattended cutting
Because the entire range of Aixia foam cutters are computer
driven, they continue working long after closing time. Setup your job,
load the foam and start the cutting. Once the job is complete, the
Aixia stops moving and the wire cools immediately. No further movement
or wire heating occurs until the operator loads another job to start
cutting.

Every Aixia
Industrial Series foam cutter ordered from AFC Foam Cutters and delivered within North
America includes a DELL computer system and CorelDraw software at no
charge. The Aixia Industrial Series foam cutters are a complete
ready-to-use, turnkey system.

The Industrial Series TurnPro turntable is
permanently attached in the middle of the machine and does not interfere with either the
standard cutting of blocks or the total cutting capacity of the machine

The Industrial Series Shapeable
Wire Tool adds the ability to "turn"
circular cornices, produce radiuses designs or use to produce dynamic and true 3D objects.
(This option is not available on the 81616 models at this time)

Assembly & Installation:
The Industrial machines are delivered completely dismantled and require a qualified
installer. The installation and assembly takes about 8 to 12 hours. The Industrial Series
include installation and one day of on site training with the AFC
Software. (included with every Aixia foam cutter)
