When you click our e-mail address, why
doesn't it automatically send us an e-mail message?
There are many unscrupulous companies who participate in SPAM. SPAM is the sending of
unsolicited and non-requested e-mail. These come in the form of "free offers",
special discounts, special membership opportunities and all the other stuff classified as
"Junk" e-mail. In order to collect these mass lists of e-mail addresses, they
have devised little programs which will search for any data-string which looks like an
e-mail address, typically "you@email.com". These e-mail messages (although they
don't cost you actual money) slow down the overall Internet network. Additionally many
e-mail addresses are collected and sold to other SPAMmers or sold as CD's which contain
millions of e-mail addresses.
By not
placing quick "e-mail" button on our pages, we are doing our part to
reduce the total number of SPAMmers out there. All changes start bit by bit.
